The Android 5.0 Lollipop update hasn’t been flying out into current-gen (or previous generation) devices, and that has some people upset. For Motorola owners, a software engineer within the company has some calming words. According to a Google+ post published by software engineer Luciano Carvalho, the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its 2014 and 2013 Moto lineups is coming “really soon.” Of course, no exact date or timetable was provided, but for anyone who owns any of those devices who has been waiting to hear from Motorola when, exactly, the update is coming, it’s certainly better than nothing. Technically, the 2nd Generation Moto X Pure Edition received an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop, but once the update was released a series of bugs were discovered in the software. It’s up to Motorola to fix that, and for all of its devices for that matter, so while the update is important, it also takes time to release. Carvalho actually gave a bit of insight into that situation, too, as reported by Droid-Life: Sounds like Motorola is indeed working hard on issuing that update, so for owners of Moto devices, stay tuned.
