Want to own a phone with a Snapdragon 800 processor inside, 2 GB of RAM, and the one of the best cameras on the market? Well, you’re going to have to put up with a screen that measures a minimum of 5.0 inches on the diagonal. That’s not in the case in Japan, where Sony launched a phone last month called the Z1F. It’s essentially the flagship Z1, but with the 5.0 inch 1080p panel replaced for a 4.3 inch 720p unit. The question on everyone’s mind: Will this device ship outside of Sony’s home country?

Does this mean we’ll get a formal Z1s device launch at some point in the next two weeks? I certainly hope so, because a device with flagship specs that’s easily pocketable would be a super hot seller this holiday shopping season. What do you think, would you give up a 1080p screen to go smaller?
